Our farm is placed in the East of Carinthia in a wonderful and sunny area. Our lines of business are cattle as well as renting our alpine lodges and the summer cottage. We are a high-class-checked farm, classified by the land association of the rural renters. We work together on our farm – the family is very important! Waltraud and Werner the farmers look together with Evelyn and Martin, the Jung's farmers after our animals in the stable and after the care of our guests. Offering "vacation in the farm" prepares us a lot of joy, above all the contact with our guests. Our guests can enjoy with pleasure our offer of traditional products and specialties exclusively from own production. On sustainable management, we attach great importance. We work with and not against nature.

GROSSHINTERBERGERHÜTTE 1436m

Our chalet Grosshinterbergerhütte is placed on a large, southern alpine meadow on the Saualpe with panoramic views over the valley "Lavanttal". In 2003 we renovated the lodge with love of detail.
Equipment: spacious combination living room and kitchen with dining area, wood-burning stove (fireplace), bathroom, WC, 4 bedrooms (4 x double room), Finnish sauna, patio with lounge, barbeque grill, own well, own playhouse for children.
Enjoy beautiful view, while you have breakfast at the large outdoor tables. A little country inn is only 5 minutes away (open only in summer).

You can reach our Wurzelhütte by car, in winter snow chains are needed. The chalet Großhinterbergerhütte is suitable for a maximum of 8 people.

WURZELHÜTTE 1450m

Our lodge was newly built on a southern alpine grassland in 2009. The magnificent views over the Lavanttal-valley will show you that you have landed in paradise of Carinthia.
The construction of the lodge was particularly on quality craft in traditional alpine design. The lodge is also very comfortable.
Equipment: spacious combination living room and kitchen with dining area, wood-burning stove (fireplace), bathroom, WC (2x), 3 bedrooms (2 x double room, 1 x 4 bedroom), Finnish sauna, balcony and patio with lounge, barbeque grill, own well, tree house for kids.
You can enjoy the harmony of the nature or you can visit some interesting places in our area. A little country inn is only 5 minutes away (open only in summer). You can reach our Wurzelhütte by car, n winter snow chains are needed. The chalet Wurzelhütte is suitable for a maximum of 8 people.

Farm cottage “Zur Hofschmiede” 650m

The house was built in the end of the 19 century, 2006 we renovated it with love for detail. Now the lodge is very comfortable and suitable for a maximum of 5 persons. The magnificent view over the Lavanttal-valley is amazing. Once the horseshoes for Norican horsebreed were made in that building - now you can relax and follow the life on a farm.
Equipment: kitchen with dining area, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine, living room with TV and Radio, wood-burning stove, fireplace, bathroom, WC, 2 bedrooms (1 x double room and 1 x 3 bedroom), Finnish sauna, balcony and patio with lounge, barbeque grill.
Your children will find plenty of room to play and a lot of different animals: Cattle, horses, pony (also riding possible), cats, dogs, ducks, chicken,... Our farm is easy to reach and we offer many homemade specialties like homemade sausages und bread.

Just 5 minutes walk there is a Lama and fish farm - you can catch your dinner by yourself! Country inns are in the area.
